Decorative arts collectors focus on factory marks, model numbers and condition. Meissen figural groups, Dresden lace porcelain with hand-applied lace, and signed Richard Klemm carriage groups are among the most collected Dresden-area porcelain. Check for the crossed-swords or maker’s mark, restoration (especially on lace and fingers), and scale — large 16–22 inch groups are display-centre pieces and far rarer intact than smaller figures.
